In the year 2005, a seasoned yachtsman and a proficient builder converged in Istanbul to embark on an ambitious project. This pivotal meeting marked the inception of Sunrise Yachts, a venture that would later emerge as a paragon of excellence in the yacht-building industry. Drawing upon their extensive experience, Herbert P. Baum and Guillaume Roché, hailing from Germany and a British/French background, respectively, laid the cornerstone for this prestigious shipyard.
Sunrise Yachts made its debut in 2009 with the launch of the elegant motor yacht, M/Y Africa, measuring 147 feet and 2 inches (44.85 meters). From there, the shipyard continued to set industry benchmarks, fabricating high-quality vessels constructed from durable steel and aluminum or composite materials. Among their remarkable creations were the magnificent 208 feet and 8 inches (63.1 meters) M/Y Irimari and the stylish 147 feet (44.81 meters) yacht known as Atom. Each yacht's construction was a collaborative effort, involving a highly skilled team of international designers, naval architects, engineers, and craftsmen who meticulously ensured that the highest standards were achieved.
Operating from its Turkish base, the Sunrise fleet took shape within two expansive yards located in the Free Zone of Antalya. These spacious facilities enabled Sunrise to produce a diverse range of vessels, spanning from 147 feet (45 meters) to 223 feet (68 meters) in length, while also providing comprehensive refit capabilities.
