Richmond Yachts was established by American visionary Don Davis, driven by his desire to bring his dream superyacht to life when he couldn't find a suitable shipyard. In the early 2000s, Davis took control of Sovereign Yachts in Vancouver, giving the company a complete makeover and relaunching it under the name Richmond Yachts. With the completion of their inaugural vessel, the company entered the world of crafting exquisite semi-custom fiberglass superyachts, characterized by their classical profiles and traditional nautical interiors.
These grand yachts, typically ranging from 42 meters (137 feet) to 46 meters (151 feet) in length, offer exceptional spaces for social gatherings and entertainment on board. Richmond Yachts collaborates with esteemed designers such as Setzer Yacht Architects and interiors maestro Sean Pavlik to create stunning vessels. Notable among their creations are the renowned 142-foot (43-meter) charter yacht, M/Y Far From It, which set sail in 2008, the exquisite 142-foot (43.28-meter) M/Y Playpen launched in 2007, and the splendid 150-foot (45.72-meter) M/Y Revive, which graced the waters in 2013.
