A Brief History:
In 1966, Frederick S. Ford, a naval architect, was commissioned to design and build a fiberglass yawl named "Bolo." The construction involved Coburn and Sargent in Florida, who laid the hull, deck, and major components. The boat was then sent to the H. Grebe Co yards in Chicago for completion. Over the years, the boat changed hands and names, eventually sailing back to Florida. In 1975, it was purchased and delivered to Annapolis, and in 1991, the current owner bought it, naming it "BULL'S EYE." After changing hands a few times, undergoing improvements and settling in different locations, the boat is now available for sale due to health reasons.
Accommodations:
Entering down the companionway, you find the galley to starboard, a nav station to port, and the refrigerator and engine access on the aft bulkhead. The main cabin features an L-shaped settee to port with a dining table and fold-up extension, while to starboard, there's a settee with a pilot berth above and outboard. Moving forward, you encounter the private ship's head compartment to port and a hanging locker and chest of drawers to starboard. The captain's cabin with a traditional V-berth is located further forward.
The interior boasts a traditional teak and holly sole, 12 stainless ports, burgundy fabrics, and white overhead. The furnishings are teak and mahogany, creating a clean and warm salon. The boat accommodates 5 people, with 2 in the forward V-berth cabin, 1 on each of the port and starboard settees, and 1 additional on the starboard pilot berth.
