The esteemed Picchiotti shipyard traces its origins back to 1600 in Limite sull’Arno, Italy. Initially known for crafting commercial and military vessels, Picchiotti soon embarked on its journey as a luxury yacht builder, pioneering the concept of recreational motor boat series. Throughout the centuries, Picchiotti expanded its shipyards and locations, ultimately catching the eye of the Superyacht builder Perini Navi Group, who acquired Picchiotti in the early 1990s. A pivotal moment arrived in 2007 when Perini Navi introduced a new line of luxury motor yachts, a collaborative creation with naval architect Philippe Briand and Vitruvius Ltd., all under the distinguished Picchiotti banner. By 2010, the Picchiotti shipyard in La Spezia became the exclusive hub for all luxury motor yacht production within the Perini Navi Group.
Eminent Picchiotti Vessels
In 2010, Picchiotti proudly presented the 50-meter luxury explorer yacht, Picchiotti Vitruvius Exuma. Crafted from aluminum and adorned with striking features like an axe bow, the superyacht Exuma received accolades and awards within the yachting industry. Picchiotti's flagship, Grace E, a marvel with an overall length of 73 meters, was gracefully launched from the La Spezia shipyard in 2014.
