CON DAO
Rughly 100 Miles South East of the entrance of Saigon River lay the island group of Con Dao. The natural beauty of these islands, with beautiful dive sites, turtles and hardly any cars on the island is in contrast with its cruel history.
During the French colonisation it was used as a “devils island” where many opponents of the colonizer were detained, tortured and executed.

PHU QUOC
In the furthest South of Vietnam, close to Sihanoukville in Cambodia is the pristine island of Phu Quoc. Its location in the Gulf of Thailand makes Phu Quoc the closest and easiest part of Vietnam to visit from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. The island is famous for its pearl farms, untouched beaches, coral reefs and deserted islands. Many investors and developers have also found the island and it is bound to become another Bali or Phuket, where foreign tourist can fly in without any visa hassle.
