THE SIXTH MAJESTY 140 SUPERYACHT COMPLETES MAIDEN SEA TRIALS

Gulf Craft, a leading name in luxury yacht building, has proudly announced that the sixth unit in its Majesty 140 series, now named Simplicity, has successfully completed her maiden sea trials. The 43.1-meter superyacht performed exceptionally well, reaching its anticipated maximum speed of 20 knots during the trials.
As one of the largest models from the UAE-based shipyard, the Majesty 140 represents the brand’s ongoing evolution in yacht design and engineering. The model is based on the highly successful Gulf Craft 135, which saw seven units built. Sold in 2023, Simplicity is set to embark on voyages across the Mediterranean and later explore the Caribbean after her final delivery.
A Strategic Shift to Semi-Displacement Hulls
Gulf Craft’s chairman, Mohamed Hussein Alshaali, was present during the sea trials and took pride in the yacht’s performance. “A few years ago, we made the wise decision to redesign all our superyachts to semi-displacement hulls, which offer many benefits, including smooth cruising and efficient performance, capitalising on our research and development in design and engineering,” Alshaali remarked. He expressed his admiration for Simplicity, highlighting her ability to combine luxury and engineering excellence.
Spacious, Luxurious Interiors by Cristiano Gatto
While images of Simplicity‘s interiors have yet to be revealed, Gulf Craft confirmed that renowned designer Cristiano Gatto is responsible for the yacht’s luxurious interior styling. The Majesty 140 accommodates up to 12 guests in five lavish cabins, including a master suite on the main deck, which boasts “one-touch” drop-down balconies, creating a seamless connection to the surrounding sea. The crew quarters are designed to house up to nine members, with their accommodations spread across the bow and aft of the vessel to optimize space and efficiency.
A Trideck with Impressive Amenities
The Majesty 140’s trideck layout offers an array of amenities designed for leisure and entertainment. Among these is a beach club, two aft balconies on the main deck, and a stunning waterfall feature that cascades from the hardtop into a Jacuzzi located on the sundeck. This thoughtful design ensures guests enjoy maximum relaxation and connection with the sea, making Simplicity the ideal superyacht for those seeking both adventure and luxury.
Power and Performance
Powered by two 2,600hp MTU diesel engines, Simplicity offers powerful yet efficient cruising. Her semi-displacement hull ensures a smooth ride even in varying sea conditions, combining performance and comfort for long-distance cruising.
